And the winner is… this awesome painting by Josep M. Solà. It features the Marimurtra Botanical Garden as seen from the air. Josep M. Solà is a landscape painter. You can see his work at l’Arcada Art Gallery, 40 metres from our building.
And the winner is… this photo by Paquita Gil. It features a fishing boat going back to the harbour in Blanes after work followed by a pack of seagulls. You can see the fishing boats from Monday to Saturday on their way back to the harbour from 4pm until 6pm while sitting in the balcony of our apartments with a glass of wine 🙂

Start the day early in the morning, at 6 am to see how the fishing boats leave the harbour to get the best fishing spots.

While fishermen are working you can go to Ca l’Orench, the best bakery in town, to get some bread and pastries for breakfast.

You should also buy some oranges at the fruit and vegetable market in order to get a fresh orange juice.

After that nice breakfast you can go to the beach all morning and have lunch in any of the restaurants around, or you can go back to the flat for a quick lunch and a long nap!

Between 4-5 pm the fishing boats come back to the harbour followed by the seagulls and if you go to the harbour you will have the chance to attend the fish auction. Every fisherman takes home part of the captures of the day that later, his wife sells in the Portal del Peix, just 50 metres from our building. You can go there and get some fish for dinner.

After dinner is not time to rest! You should get a nice ice-cream and go for a walk all through the bay until you get to the mouth of the Tordera river, stopping to have a look at the crafts stalls you will find on your way.

Now you deserve a nice sleep if you don’t want to enjoy the night life. There is a large number of bars and pubs to have a drink.
In our flat you will find a big living room with great sea views, an independent kitchen completely equiped, bathroom with bath and hydro massage shower , laundry room and three bedrooms.
The main bedroom has a double bed, the second one has bunk beds and the third room has two single beds.
The living room has two sofas where six adult people can sit comfortably, a table for 6-8 adult people, books and toys for your kids. You can ask for a baby cot and a high chair if needed. All the furniture in the house and most of the electric appliances have been renovated in april 2014.
